Teams

We enter teams in Manningham Netball’s Saturday competition as well as their Tuesday night social competition. We also run a Woolworth NetSetGo program to introduce players to the game of netball.

The Saturday competition has the following age group sections and we usually enter multiple teams in each age group.

Girls are able to play in an age group until (and including) the year that they turn that age. A girl turning 13 during the year is able to play in the 13 and under age group and will then move up to 15 and under for the next year when they will turn 14.

Boys are able to play in the Saturday competition until (and including) the season in which they turn 13. A boy turning 13 during the autumn (first) season of the year may play in that season but may not play in the following spring season.

Training

Netball training at Warrandyte Netball Club is run on Tuesdays, Wednesdays or Thursdays night at the netball courts at Warrandyte Reserve.  If you are unable to train on any given night, please contact either your coach or team manager as soon as possible.

If the weather forecast is wet, or fire rating extreme and you are unsure if training will be going ahead, please contact your coach or team manager to confirm.  The decision to cancel training is with the coach, please note we have club room facilities available where wet weather training can continue indoors.

We kindly ask all players to arrive at training 5 minutes before the start time.

Please ensure the follow to get the most out of each training session:

  • Proper netball footwear and attire (no school shoes or volleys)
  • Hair is tied back
  • Full water bottle
