Child safety
Warrandyte Netball Club is committed to the safety and wellbeing of all children and young people. We have a zero-tolerance approach to child abuse and are dedicated to implementing the 11 Child Safety Standards.
All volunteers, including coaches, team managers, and committee members, are required to hold a valid Working With Children Check.
We have a Child Safety Officer who can be contacted at childsafety@warrandytenetball.org. All concerns are treated with complete confidentiality.
Everyone at our club should be:
- Welcomed, comfortable and safe.
- Looked after in a caring environment.
- Empowered through relationships with club volunteers and peers.
- Exposed to positive and affirming experiences on and off the court.
