Netball seven heaven

The end of the 2015 winter season capped off one of the strongest finishes in memory for the Warrandyte Netball Club as nine teams reached the grand final: three open age teams and six under age teams.

Playing at the Lower Templestowe courts against strong op- position including Donvale, East Doncaster and Eltham, seven teams managed to take home premiership glory, crowning Warrandyte as the winners on the day in the Doncaster and District Netball Competition.

Natalie Dusting’s hard work and dedication has earned her Warrandyte Netball Club’s record of the most played games after she played game number 362.

Natalie and her sisters Amie and Jess are expected to have played over 1000 games for Warrandyte Netball Club by the end of this season.

Nat nets 300 games

Nat nets 300 games

Netballer Nat Dusting has achieved an outstanding milestone after playing her 300th game with the Warrandyte Netball Club.

Dusting, 23, started playing netball at the age of eight in the Under 11s and has been playing for 15 years (30 seasons). She is now playing in Open A Grade.

Dusting has been a pivotal part of the Warrandyte club throughout those 15 years, not only as a player but also as an umpire for six years and a coach for seven years.
