The Warrandyte Netball Club is excited to announce several players have been selected to play representative netball with either Doncaster, Diamond Valley Force, Yarra or Manningham.
In Under 11s, Katelyn O’Reilly, Sarah Evans and Oakie Oehlmann were chosen.
In other divisions, players picked for rep netball were:
- U13s, Mia Benn, Kimberley Gilling, Sienna Watson, Elise Mueller, Lauren Kapoglis, Indiana Murphy, Olivia Cross, Ashlea Cross, Jordan Jennings and Jemma Thornton;
- U15s, Alyssa Rodwell, Nikki Link, Amy Potter, Jessica Rodwell, Victoria Febbo, Isabella Preston, Beth Garlick, Alana Fenton and Natalia Czarnecki;
- U17s, Claire Garrick, Xina Lam, Jessica O’Keefe, Jessica Thomas- Connor, Georgina Adair, Megan Pring, Sarah Lloyd, Shae Kirby, Zoe Katsafouros and Sam Wilson;
- Open, Gabby Ryan and Jasmine Woods.
These players started specialised training in mid-January and their competition began in early February. A usual week will consist of two training sessions and a game at either Waverley Netball Centre or Parkville Netball Centre and they will play Sunday tournaments throughout the year (this does not include their club netball requirements).
