Brumbies win netball flag

Warrandyte Netball Club’s Under 13 team has brought home a premiership.

It was the highlight of a successful spring season where nine teams made the semi-finals and five teams figured in grand final matches.

The results were:

  • Under 13/1 Brumbies – Premiers
  • Under 15/1 Magpies – Runner-up
  • Under 17/1 Eagles – Runners-up
  • Under 17/2 Kangas – Runners-up
  • Open B Hawks – Runners-up

The Warrandyte Netball Club selection day will be held on Saturday 29 January 2011 at the Taroona Avenue Courts.

It was a bustling afternoon down at the Warrandyte Netball Courts as our players hit the courts in preparation for the upcoming season.

Our Woolworths NetSetGO participants kicked off their introduction to netball for Term 1, taking their first steps in developing skills, teamwork, and a love for the game. It was fantastic to see so many eager young netballers getting involved!
