Warrandyte Netball Club Training and Team information
Netball training is run on either a Wednesday or Thursday night at the Warrandyte Netball Club. If you are unable to train on any given night, please contact either your coach or team manager as soon as possible.
If the weather forecast is wet, or fire rating extreme and you are unsure if training will be going ahead, please contact your coach or team manager to confirm. The decision to cancel training is with the coach, please note we have club room facilities available where wet weather training can continue indoors.
We kindly ask all players to arrive at training 5 minutes before the start time.
Please ensure the follow to get the most out of each training session:
- Proper netball footwear and attire (no school shoes or volleys)
- Hair is tied back
- Full water bottle
Netball training times:
NetSetGo – Wednesdays from 4:00-4:45pm
Under 9 – Thursdays from 4:00-5:00pm
Under 11 – Thursdays from 4:15-5:15pm
Under 13 – Wednesdays from 4:30-5:30pm
Under 15 – Wednesdays from 5:30-6:30pm
Under 17 squad – Thursdays from 5:30-6:30pm

A great day at the courts
A great day at the courts yesterday for the last fixtured game of the season and the year, with some great wins from WNC teams.
NetSetGo is back!
Net Set Go is back for another term starting at 4pm on Wednesday October 11. All kids from ages 5-10 are welcome.

Congratulations to our U9 Gliders on a terrific win yesterday, scoring 9 to 7. From all accounts it was their best game yet!
Grand Hotel wins two AHA awards this year!
The Grand Hotel has done it again!! Congratulations to Peter Appleby and his team for winning 2 awards at the AHA VIC State Awards for Excellence recently. Peter won the new category of “Local Legend – Metro” and the pub also came away with “Best Outdoor Experience – Metro”. We’re so proud of you all for your hard work, it’s been a tough year. Thanks too for supporting the club as our major sponsor.
Cherise celebrates a WNC record of 450 games!
Congratulations to Cherise Angelotti-Casey on achieving 450 games.
On March 5th, Cherise played her 450th match for the Warrandyte Netball Club, a club record number of games.
